The Phase component adjusts the phase of the source curve shifting it leftwards or rightwards. This is a curve component, it can be located in the Curve Ops category on the Components Bar.
Phase: Map Input
Defines the amount of phase shift. The resulting shift amount is determined by multiplying this value by the Phase Max value. Negative values shift the curve leftwards; positive values shift it rightwards. Since Phase is a map input, its value can be controlled separately for different image areas by connecting a map component to this input.
Serves as a multiplier for the Phase parameter. For example, with Phase Max set to 1, Phase of 100 will shift the curve 100% rightwards, and with Phase Max set to 8, Phase of 100 will shift the curve 800% rightwards.
Source: Curve Input, Required
Provides the source curve. This is a required input – to make the Phase component work, this input must be connected.
