Often I'll change a setting or to a different preset and FF will fail to re-render the top-left tile or chunk. The only workaround I have found is that if I check 'show original' and then uncheck it, it generally will properly re-render that chunk.

It's getting frustrating trying to process a number of images because I can't batch them and this means I often have to go from PS into FF, select my setting, check then uncheck 'show original' and then hit Apply.

The image attached shows what I mean.

Thanks GMM smile:)

I'm running XP service pack 3, 32 bit, and my FF version is x86-sse2 2.008.17333.23842 Release-SSe2. I have a core 2 quad and (not sure if FF uses hardware acceleration for anything) an ATI HD3870.

If you need, I can email the filter I'm using that it happens most on. It's got a few blurs and high passes and it usually takes around 5-10 seconds for a precompute before rendering starts.

I had this problem too a few times. It is not a consistent bug, and I solved it by a temporary variation change. Unfortunately I forgot which filters caused the problem.. but IIRC it seemed to be related to the cached surface mode maps (they're not always invalidated correctly)
