Is this gonna change anything for filters in-progress if we upgrade/update before finishing and submitting them ? Or should we finish anything we've been working on first ? (I'm never too thrilled about upgrading/updating because of past probs/incompatabilities eh)

No. Filter Forge is fully backward-compatible, so you can simply continue your work and submit it when it's ready. |

If you don't like it, you can turn it off in Tools > Options > Filter Editor
We've reset the counts and the ranks, but the 'prizewinner' status was left intact, so if an author has filters that qualify for a reward, he/she is still eligible for the reward. |

Congratulations to the new update! As my license key is ending on October 31st im wondering if I will get a chance to use it...? I don't think I will be able to create filters and get a chance of a free version so I would like to know when the program will be available. I really love it and use it a lot since I'm betatesting and I'm sure I will hardly miss it when my key is over

nice update! love that the components will now force a scroll when you move them! dont see much need for reversing the nodes... either way works fine with me. love the bug fixes (found a few of those, myself). speed increase in very nice! am totally confused now about how to get new filters from download. liked the old system better there.
nice work, guys (and bella ![]() If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Fantastic work on the new version. I really like the control scheme now with marquee select, deselect on left-click and pan on right or middle mouse or space. Now it's just like I imagined it could be when I first started using it!
![]() I'm starting to feel like we'll see a shift out of beta soon? ![]() |

Mike -- yes, you're right. Filter Forge is now feature-locked, which means we won't be adding any new features after the update 1.004, only bug fixes (though we may continue adding new stuff to the Web Filter Library and the website in general). Now we're working on the help pages, and this is why I'm going into silent mode again until the help is ready.
