Here's my condensation (upgraded) on a coke can label. It also works alright with a shower glass door, pretty sweet. smile:)

Holly crap that is good! I am a filter vampire and would love to have this filter to add to my collection! smile:)

It really is good, plus thanks S. for the grass spheres!

but each subsequent octave is twice as small as the previous one

ok, so just like in music where an octave is half (or twice) the frequency of another. and that would also mean that even in music, octaves could be considered fractal. had never thought of that before. and that's also what i'm seeing in the bombers, those different sized particles where the smaller usually appear further away and so on. thanks, guys smile:)

that looks good, ben smile:)

Got started on a stone road, it's very simple looking (needs some detail), but the shapes turned out well. I love the bomber using Difference blend mode on black and white particles. I highly recommend playing with that, you can get some great noises out of it. smile:D

Here's an example of a soft circle going into the bomber with Difference. Try using the Noise and Detail sliders for some interesting effects. It does some weird stuff, seems a bit off, but I like it.

Awesome stuff in this thread. I'm so happy now that there's a great way to make grass, I think there are about eight filters I've got in different states trying to make a good grass!

Thanks for the great demos on what Bomber can do, I'm really impressed with where it's going so far.

I'm looking forward to the HDR stuff at the moment, it really opens things up to easy color manipulation.

Ben, that's great! It reminds me of all those early NES games - like pixelart, almost.

Inspired by the season.

I had to split the filter in two because it became way too slow to edit. This is the first pass:

Red channel is the trunk/branch mask, green is for bark texture and blue represents a chance/size cloud for the leaves.

The second filter processes this data and finishes the job.

And now for nice things! Based on the same thing above. It uses the Bomber. smile;) Actually come to think of it the Bomber made everything extremely simple and interesting. I'm wondering what happens next.
