I have downloaded several filters from the library. I can see them in the FF folder but cannot call them in the app when I'm in PS 5.1 Ext. I using a Mac Pro, OS X Lion. I have reset all permissions. Reset PS to defaults. I may just have the filters in the wrong place on my drive?

When I try to install them using the Unix Executable File, I get the below message:

Operation not permitted
Failed to install Filter Forge plugins for Adobe Photoshop CS5.

Any help would be appreciated

Michael

Not really... smile:( . The app runs in stand-alone but the Freepack plugin's don't appear to be running when I check under the category filters. It might help to know which category, "Building, Frames, Misc, Organic, etc.,) to look.

I can see the Freepak plugins in the Plug-In for PS 5.1

Grab the freepack filters from the library and use them in FF3....Do not use the FF freepack installer....Download them from the actual filters page...

Hey, I am reluctant to purchase your latest, greatest offer if I can't download filters. Any help would be appreciated as I have been unable to download filters since the last upgrade.

I had this before but waited an hour then it worked...So not sure on this but may be a server thing....Maybe to many accessing at once... smile:?:

http://www.filterforge.com/forum/sear...#nav_start

Try to download filters using the built-in browser....Go to the Tools menu then select Options..Now select the Online tab...Select the Built-In library browser...Then click OK now you should see a new button at the top right that says Download more filters....This will give a list of filters and thumbnails....

I do not know if this will work, BUT the downloading of filters I think is controlled by the Library_Structure.xml file that is inside the folders

FilterForge 2: ~/Library/Application Support/Filter Forge 2
FilterForge 3: ~/Library/Application Support/Filter Forge 3

So if you delete this file and restart filter forge, it will rebuild all the library structure and perhaps could let you download.

Michael Hays, do you use a firewall or parental internet control or any other system that may prevent Filter Forge from accessing the filter library? If yes, please add filterforge.net to the trusted list.
