The new FF 5 Pixel Awarness lets you define exactly a measure in pixels, and this is good, but the problem is that in real world you can not measure things in pixels
![]() ![]() converter of centimeters to pixels fast and easy For example 5 centimeters is equal to 188.976377953 pixels And you can put this long number of pixels in the pixel awarness size and it works correctly |

YEUP! Although just as a forewarning for anybody else just blindly reading this: pixels are just points in an array. And for that matter they can be infinitely small dots or giant squares since we can represent them in multiple ways.
There's no fixed unit for the scale of pixels unlike centimeters which has a standard. In other words, it can depend highly on monitor resolution (PPI), DPI, etc. these things affect a lot of stuff. So 5 cm = 188.9...px? It's "probably right but only in certain contexts". This often throws people off into total confusion. |

PLEASE, USE THIS NEW PIXEL CALCULATOR CONVERTER
oh, thanks for the comment, I did not thought about this, I was only taking into account only the proportion of the scale to compare it from paper to screen, wich it works as I have already tested, but I agree and you are right that is very important to consider also the DPI measure so here I have found a new pixel converter from milimeters to pixel and using the additional DPI required to calculate it www.pixelcalculator.com 72 dpi for screen and 300 dpi for high quality printing It lets you add the DPI and it gives you many additional data below about this topic, and I have tested it with Photoshop and seems to be right 1200 mm x 1200 cm x 300 dpi = 14173 pixels Also it cares also about the color depth used wich by default is 24 bit (16,78 million colors) and there is a list of additional color depth to choose
Usually the measure as far as I know is done in DPI (or PPI) but maybe if you want to use instead pixel/centimeter here is a converter between both DPI convert to pixel/centimeter If what you need is to convert Pixel/centimeter to DPI, just go below nearly the end of page to find this available too and more options |
