Filter Forge 6.008 – Bugs Fixed

Alexandria, VA, USA (March 16, 2017) – Filter Forge, Inc. today released the minor update 6.008 to Filter Forge 6.0, a popular Photoshop plugin that allows users to create their own filters. The current fixes several issues.

How to update: To download and install the update 6.008, select Tools > Updates from the Filter Forge main menu. Users who do not want to use the built-in update feature can download and install the update manually from the download page. The update preserves all downloaded and user-created filters, as well as user settings and the license key.

List of Updates, Additions and Fixes

Platform-independent:

  • Filter Forge no longer overwrites FFXML filter files if the lock data hasn’t changed.
  • Fixed an issue with selecting a built-in source image from the menu.
  • Users will get a more concise error message when the library server is unavailable.

Windows specific:

  • The 64-bit program version correctly manifests itself as running.
