Filter Forge 5.008 – Bugs Fixed

Alexandria, VA, USA (January 14, 2015) – Filter Forge, Inc. today released a minor update 5.008 to Filter Forge 5.0, a popular Photoshop plugin that allows users to create their own filters. The current update fixes a number of issues.

How to update: To download and install the update 5.008, select Tools > Updates from the Filter Forge main menu. Users who do not want to use the built-in update feature can download and install the latest version manually from the download page. The update preserves all user settings and filters.

List of Updates, Additions and Fixes

Platform-independent:

  • Fixed a crash with selecting a folder in the filter list.
  • Fixed incorrect processing of the Enter key.
  • Improved responsiveness of filters with lost of components.
  • Fixed an group bounds error.
  • The Bomber component no longer samples empty particles.
  • Fixed a crash with supplying a zero value into the Scale component.
  • Increased the hit zone for locked controls
  • Added randomization parameters to the control context menu.
  • You can now register Filter Forge from the command line.
