Filter Forge 4.014 – New Host Application, Bugs Fixed

Alexandria, VA, USA (June 8, 2015) – Filter Forge, Inc. today released the minor update 4.014 to Filter Forge 4.0, a popular Photoshop plugin that allows users to create their own filters. The current update adds support for Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 and fixes several issues.

How to update: To download and install the update 4.014, select Tools > Updates from the Filter Forge main menu. Users who do not want to use the built-in update feature can download and install the update manually from the download page. The update preserves all downloaded and user-created filters, as well as user settings and the license key.

Windows specific:

  • Added support for Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 as host application.
  • Fixed a crash due to improper handling of filters queued for loading.
  • Filter Forge no longer crashes when you try to remove a search result from the list.

Mac OS X specific:

  • Fixed a freeze after removing filters from Filter Manager.
