I shot the original photo at the Atlantic Nationals Hot Rod show in July 2003.

I duplicated the original twice to separate layers. I ran Filter Forge's 'smeary oiling painting' on the bottom layer and Filter Forge's 'local normalization' on the top layer. I reduced the top layer's opacity to 20% and merged the two layers. I ran Topaz Adjust on the image to enhance the color a bit...
