  • Will FF could support multi layers ( as photoshop)
... SpaceRay. "Skybase Are you saying like... 1 filter = multiple layered outputs?" :?: Sorry I am explaining badly :( , I have not said that 1 filter would give multiple layered outputs :?: "Skybase Sounds like a batch render thing honestly. " STACKING Step 1 - Have the original source image Step 2 - Apply a FF filter to this image (do not render the final result just a reduced preview) Step 3 - Apply a second filter over the result of the first filter ...

  • 3D Previews & Multi-map export at once
Author: GMM. "temporalvistasquash wrote: Also the option to export several render maps at once." Please look closer at the batch renderer (http://filterforge.com/more/help/Miscellaneous/CommandLineRenderer.html): if you save specific maps as separate presets the batch renderer allows you to save them at once.

  • Will FF could support multi layers ( as photoshop)
Author: SpaceRay. "Morgantao Do you mean something like a batch renderer that would render one filter after another, on the same image? " If what he wants is what I have explained in the above post here, the batch render would work only half way, because you would not know HOW will look the result if you apply ...

  • Batch Rendering
... additional bump or normal maps. What i expected was you choose what output maps you want and FF is doing it for you all simultanously and saving the maps to responding file names like '...bump' or '...norm' e.g. I think it would be a nice idea to introduce batch rendering, so that you can choose what filters you want to apply in which format/size with parameter input sets to each filter. Than FF can do all rendering in a batch job leaving you time to do artistical work or whatever. It is quite time consuming ...

  • Batch GUI Tool for Windows
Author: crasse. Hi there ! first thanks you Aba for your batch tool, it's working really great ! I've used it to batch render Rendered 3D image sequence of more than 1300 images, and it did during the night without a bug, a crash or anything, works perfect ! :) However I'm trying to do a simple thing, and didn't find a way yet to do it : I use a filter called "Paint ...

  • Animating Filters in Windows 10
Author: Sphaerophorus. Hello! I've been looking for a good way to animate filters by doing batch rendering of a single preset with parameter modulation and despite scouring this forum for years back and trying every piece of external software listed in the wiki it seems like there isn't anything still available for Windows that has the functionality ...

  • Beta 10 - update batch renderer
Author: FFCreator. I have updated FFEasyRender (my batch renderer for FF). It now supports FilterForge till version 10 beta. • Pay you for Batch Render. Smile all the way to the bank :)
... this request and maybe could be interested in making it for you "Grimbly wrote: If you are willing to "get your hands dirty" a bit I'd suggest you try modeling out what you want with Knime. I've used it in the past to do chained batch rendering and other odd batch things that FFBatchTool wasn't capable of handling" And how would you use this Knime with filter forge? Sorry that I have no idea of scripting

  • How to Batch Render ONE image with multiple separate filters results?
... "Create and execute Batch" I can´t thank you enough aba for making this amazing and very well done tool that is very useful and wonderful that will transform and change the way is FF used and is now MUCH EASIER AND MUCH BETTER to use the batch render.

  • Features which could improve value of FF
Author: FFCreator. I agree that Filter Forge still lacks some desirable features. Thats why I develop tools that I need myself. If you are looking for a free (donationware) batch renderer (Windows) that can render in the background, check out my batch renderer: FFEasyRender (https://www.ipadtouches.com/ffeasyrender-for-filter-forge/) It's as simple as right-clicking a filter in FF, choosing "Locate File" and dragging ...

  • Tasty preview
... secrets here... I wanted turn an old filter of mine (https://filterforge.com/filters/8801.html) into an animated gif. Then I got the idea for this one. I loaded the filter into ff batch.sjeiti.com to render the xml. Then I ran the Filterforge batch renderer on cli. Actually I did use some magic in the form of ImageMagick to render the separate images into an animated gif.

  • Ideas for Filter Forge
..., please, please, PLEASE add this to FF4. This is a very important thing to have! "2 - And also would be good to make a Batch Process of applying different presets of the same filter to the main image loaded." This is exactly what the batch renderer does. Still, would be nice to be able to do it from the main gui too. "3 - And if it would be possible to have, ALSO an option to be able to choose and select a group of filters and then apply all of them to a single image with the same ...

  • Override map_type in config script.
Author: GMM. Bigdog, welcome to Filter Forge :) I'm not sure I understand your question. What do you need to change in the batch renderer config? You need to specify in one preset, in another one and so on. Then you specify these particular presets to render in the batch renderer config file. Please refer to the XML file contents (http://www.filterforge.com/more/help/Miscellaneous/CommandLineRenderer....

  • Feature suggestion, time/life saver.
... that is kind of helpful but still involves waiting for all 3 to render I think before I can preset them? Let me try it out before I assume, maybe I can just click add preset before they render. Otherwise I think it will take twice as long that way, 1 render for preset and 1 again for the batch. Its good to know I can batch out the presets though so thanks for the tip.

  • Simple Batch Rendering
... Crapadilla. I know the topic of animation has been touched here and there in feature requests (and the FF team is probably weary reading it), but since I view this as my personal most wanted feature of all time, I am going to request it again here: A simple batch rendering capability with rudimentary keyframing within Filter Forge. "onyXMaster wrote elsewhere: Batch processor is certainly possible (even for frames of different sizes). " Now this doesn't have to bloat FF up into a full-blown animation ...

  • About to upgrade to version 6. Does FFeasyRender work?
Author: paulcopeland. hey folks. Some of you may not know what FFEasyRender does. Well it is a batch render program which allows you to render as many filters in the background as you like. An extremely powerful program which allowed me to batch render dozens of large filters overnight, something that I couldn't do in the daytime. I hop someone out ...

  • Proper batch tools = instant FF5 upgrade
... Preview because obviously does not have a GUI do it, and also because is needed to RENDER it before the preview can be seen, filter forge software solves this making a 600x600 preview and then when you are ready and satisfied with the result then you can render the final result, and this could be the same for the batch process INSIDE filter forge And if you are going to use Batch Process to mix two filters with an image this is surely more needed to have preview on how it will look the result

  • Simple Batch Rendering
Author: SpaceRay. "rilos I agree and want to push for a small batch rendering utility! " Yes, it would be good to have a utility or whatever way that could have a GUI instead of a simple command line as it is available now and that is updated and made with all the available components of FF 4.0. "MachinesInMotion ...

  • Proper batch tools = instant FF4 upgrade
Author: CorvusCroax. I have to agree with the sentiments of the original post, by Spaz8: "I don't care about doing 5 processes to 1 one image ( the current batch tools focus). I want to do one, or several passes on a folder. Ie, an image sequence (rendered animation) or a bunch of resources for other use. " Totally agree: if I want to do a series of processes / FF filters to a stack of images, I write a Pshop action for it. And I DO in fact do this: to hundreds of images at a go. "Give ...
