Paint Shop Pro X6 64bit error

The handle 0017A480 is not a valid window handle.
Any way to fix this?

Author: Totte. Can be 64bit vs 32bit plugins problem, otherwise someone with more photoshop fu will have to answer.
Have you tried the standalone app?

Author: rekvium88. Oh wait, got it working. I'm such a noob! Seems like I was using the 64bit version of PS. Filter Forge appears in the 32bit version. Again, thanks for trying to help me, I'm going to test the plugin now! :)

CPU/Core usage settings

I'm running Vista 64bit.
Usually only set affinity for folding.
Don't bother when using FF as I want all the power my little i7 has rendering for me.
Render Speed
Author: meyendlesss. According to the "New Image" help page, max res in FF is 65536x65536.
I'm sure it would take quite some time on my machine, but it would likely take quite some time on most machines.
Makes me wish there was a 64bit version.

Author: Rabid. Well for one it stops you from running out of memory.
Every program I have the 64bit version always seems to be more stable and a bit quicker than it's 32bit versions.
So yeah I'll take 64 bit over 32 any day myself.
Filter Forge 6 and Photoshop cc 2019

I have filter forge 6. Is it compatible with the above configuration? I cannot get PS to recognize the plugin. Do I need to move files to the plugin folder?

I take it no one else is having the problem, any suggestions from anyone? Obviously can't download any filters as well as problem mentioned above.

Author: ras. Same problem here but I have 32megs of memory so something else is going on. It totally locks up FF in windows 8.1 64bit pro. I had to use task manager to kill FF. Restarted FF and tried again and it again froze FF 12 latest version.
Filter Forge 3.007 WORKS WELL inside Adobe Photoshop CS6 Beta !
Author: LarryAW. I tried a 1,000,000 things to get Filter Forge 3 to work in the released 64bit version of Photoshop CS6 Extended. I made a new Filters folder inside the plug-in folder, and simply copied Filter Forge 3 into that blank Filters folder. Believe it or not, it worked.
Freepaks Don't Work

I upgraded to CS5 and still have a similar problem. The freepaks installed on my laptop and work fine. However, on my desktop they installed and they show up under filters, but whenever you click on one, the screen freezes. Both systems are Win7 64bit.
FF3: Slow
... typically use various computationally heavy tools to accomplish VFX work, design work, and otherwise. I happen to also enjoy going on forums for those software companies making those tools. There are always 2 or 3 (or more) complaints either regarding 64bit compatibility, slow computation/renders, bad results, or not enough flexibility. Like these are legit forum threads with legit complaints. But those threads QUICKLY become an annoying, ridiculous, stupid bash-fest.

It works for me in Win7 and Vista 64bit as a plugin.
I use it with Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop Elements.
