I wish there was a program wherein users could demonstrate through their hard work, ability and good intentions that they were recognized as an asset to the FF community and qualified to continue trying to earn a copy of FF even after the extended trial had expired. I further wish the program would be rolled out in the next four days. :D
I have FF 2.008 Pro - yet can't use filters? WTH!
Author: Tomkat. I tried that, but the upgrade actually DOWNGRADED my FF to a "demo" version with an EXPIREDtrial period! My license key from 2.008 Pro doesn't work for 2.010... so what's the deal? Do I have to RE-BUY Filter Forge? :evil:

Same problem, GMM. I tried Windows 7 and Windows XP and I get the 30 day trial has expired message on both when trying to run it.
I guess I'll continue using 1.0 until the problems are resolved

Mmm, I've been messing with Bevel a lot.. can't ever get it to look nice. I'll definitely root through more filters for learning purposes.
Height-mapping seems to get me a nice bevel, though.

I figure if FF is now going with a useless 30-day trial that is fostering a constant stream of sub-op filters with very few quality filter submissions....and most of the quality ... ... practice that I don't particularly like seeing....misleading customers to think that it's a "one-time" discount that will expire and won't be back.....when in fact, a discount has almost been continuously running on this program....with FF even deliberately ...

Unfortunately, I ran into the 'immediate' trialexpiration issue. I filled out the contact form with my information and requested a beta license.

Could it be perhaps and probably that you have a cookie or any registry reference from a previous version or from the beta and this makes FF think that the trial have expired ?
you can use the free www.ccleaner.com to clean your windows in the best way
I did not have this problem, and I am using now the 30 days trial.

2.0 Trial?
... Adobe Photoshop CS3. I installed the beta and started photoshop. When i select the filter a windows pops up saying "Filter Forge is running - click here to switch" , however when i do so, only a window appears which tells me "the 30-day trial period has expired" ... strange, i just installed it and i never had a version of filter forge installed before.
is the 2.0 beta not available as trial ? or did something go wrong?
Would be nice if any1 can help me trying filterforge since the gallery ...

Ron Viers got his three HUs and is coming back.....a really nice guy.....whom I thought was getting very clever with his filter making (Orbs) when his trialexpired.....
Uber also said he was coming back soon......and CF is still out there, but currently busy with other things I believe.....

... yes, you're right, I got lifetime upgrade. I'm sorry you guys got this issue. I'll keep using the trial than I have more some days to use. :0) Good luck to you all fixing the distribution system or by sending them manually. I'll keep waiting.
