In the mean time, is the ffxml file accurate to whatever you were describing? If you check the RGB values in HDR mode, you'll see the problem.

Looks like Firefox internally points to a wrong or missing executable for open ffxml file requests. You can set the correct file path and application in Firefox's preferences > applications tab.

Yes: you'll need to copy the ffxml files between '/Users/UserName/Library/Application Support/Filter Forge 2/System/Library' and '/Users/UserName/Library/Application Support/Filter Forge/System/Library'.

Author: Rachel Duim. You are welcome :) You can edit your new filters (.ffxml) by changing the minor version in the Information tag using a text editor (Notepad?). Keep a backup. Here's a sample of the tag, you would change minor version from 6 to 5.
A hack, but it probably will work but no guarantees.
How to Manually Remove Corrupted Fiilter

I just used logic, took a chance, and removed the .ffxml file from the two aforementioned locations, and I deleted the lines which referenced the aforementioned filter from the "CachedInfos.xml file and the LibraryStructure.xml file. Filter Forge is still working, so maybe I did it right.
FF 2 crashes immediately upon launch, consistently
... Inujima my FF can at least load without Van Gogh crashing it. He's posted a link on another thread which allows use of the filter on Macs without crashing.

In FF3, we have also updated the Bomber, Checker, Color, Image, Selection, and Switch components. If you change all references to these components to those of 2.009 components, you should succeed.

This build is based on the upcoming update, so it will have all the latest features and fixes. It will download filters, but I'm not sure about the upload (the new editor may require changes to the .ffxml format).

Makes FFXML larger having more presets, as far as I know the preset are ONLY some XML lines and the filter that is going to be submitted does not store any external image, and none of the built-in images ...

How to switch Anti-Aliasing to "Off" permanently ?
Author: xirja. It is a setting stored for every preset. So you can double click the preset, change the antialiasing at the top, and then use the menu drop down to the right to "upd ate prese t". :hammer: If you can batch process text (ffxml), then search for "anitaliasing=" and replace values within quotes.

- remove (or rename) any .ffxml file;
- go to the online library (https://filterforge.com/filters/) and download a new filter, that you didn't have before.
Will it fix the local library structure?

Author: Burt. Thank you. I am having fun with FF. It seems everything you try generates some unexpected bit that gives a new idea so I copy yhrm to a new ffxml file and recently had to copy hem to a different folder as the 'My Filter' list was a little out of control. :)
