Do you mean to upload an FFxml file AND an image (texture) file in the same post? You can only upload ONE file for each post, unless the ...

  • Looking for Flaming Pear Replacement
Author: Skybase. You can download and open the ffxml file by hitting right-click > "save-as". Double click on the ffxml file and it should open in FilterForge. FilterForge basically saves ffxml files so those are what we share here. I think it's all a good starting point overall....

  • Suggest a new filter.
Author: Romaq. Rename it as "Solidfy cImitationg.ffxml" and save it somewhere on your computer, then while running Filter Forge you can double-click the filter to 'run' it. You may be able to simply double-click the .ffxml to run Filter Forge, but my FF3 Beta is out-dated, so that's how I forced ...

  • FFCat is out of beta!
Author: Saragani. Hi, since some of you used the older versions, then until some version (due to a bug), FFCat was not saving the paths of the ffxml files. I only discovered and fixed it when I had to implement the "double click on filter to open FilterForge" feature... Ctrl + R tells FFCat to take any selected filter, go to its file path and read the whole content of the file ...

  • Be able to move and organize the filter presets in 4.0
... folders. But it can't edit files. To edit a file you need notepad. FF works in the same way. The filter manager will be able to help you organize your filters, but it can't edit them. To rearange presets, you need to edit the filter's FFXML file. That's something only the filter editor can do. " I agree much with all of this and is true all and is right BUT I do not agree and think is wrong that you NEED the filter editor to edit and rearrange the presets. Why? Because ...

  • Filter development--earthbound
....com/earthbound19/_ebDev/tree/master/filter_forge/by_me). I make no guarantees about how active development of them are, but apart from my recently first published filter, "Geometry pattern factory," at this writing I've added four others yon: - Geometry pattern factory (color).ffxml: an attempt to leave/modify color output of that filter. - Geometry pattern factory 2.ffxml: adds a polygon option to the image base. Uploaded thar it has a ton of (if I may say) really interesting presets. I upload this for proposed publication ...

  • FF helper applications, creating/editing FFXML externally
Author: ThreeDee. Not having vector drawing capabilities beyond the Bezier Curve component has made me consider writing some Flash-based helper applications that would either create FFXML files or directly modify existing files. I would assume based on the various ffbatch and ffcat apps that this is possible. Does anyone have experience in making (or editing) FFXML externally and opening it back in FF successfully? Any known problems ...

Author: Grimbly. I was looking at the structure of a filter today to try and determine how to go about making an auto-update script for them but I see no indication in the ffxml file for which components are obsolete. If I share an ffxml file and someone else loads it there will be the same obsolete components on their instance as I had to start with but how can that be if the ffxml file has ...
