  • Difficulty connecting to FF server?
    Author: CorvusCroax. Lately I've been getting a lot of these messages when downloading filters: "Unable to connect to the server. Make sure you are connected to the internet." My internet connection is emphatically fine,(How else would I be trying to download an item, anyway?) and FF is on my whitelist. I use Firefox as a browser, WinXP.... any suggestions here?...

I had been getting the message off and on yesterday, but it always eventually worked.

Hi It goes to Filter forge app and then just has the message "connecting to the server" but it fails to connect no matter what setting I use on options, and even if I switch off my firewall completely. After a while another message appears "unable to connect to the server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet" I am connected to the internet fine....

    Author: Spaceface. so glad i checked this post. just upgraded from FF1 to FF2 and thought i'd knackered it. unable to connect to server here aswell. i've been fiddling with my firewall and rebooting. seems like its nothing to do with my settings and is a server issue. thats put my mind at rest.

    Author: McGyver. I'm curious if it is just me... is anyone else having trouble downloading filters? I have not been able to get through all day. I keep getting "unable to connect to server". I have no trouble downloading from anywhere else. I hope this is not going to go on too long.
