  • Multi image codec filter - I'm stuck
Author: IONclad. HA! I just spent about 6 hours building a filter that does exactly this"Zoltan Erdokovy wrote: The original intention behind this was to batch together multiple images for 3d work: diffuse, normal and specular maps. " It was rejected as 'too slow to render'... which I found really fishy since it took 20 minutes to render on my little Dell laptop sporting a blazing core duo mobility chip. If you want it, I can email it to you. Ian

  • Spherical Perlin Noise Map Script by David Roberson
Author: David Roberson. Indigo Ray, I like your enthusiasm! I think it's a fine example, though it is never easy waiting for an animation to batch render! It reminds me of a moon. I might update my moon lab to use this script. Thank you for bringing Inujima's Spherical Projection filter to my attention. I thought I had it already, but it turned out I didn't. I might have seen the thread about FF ...

  • Beta 10 - update batch renderer
Author: FFCreator. It is for PC (Windows). I 'm working on version 2.2. It 'll have an option to (batch) render presets with the preview images of FilterForge as used in the presets of an Effect filter (like LIFESAVER, GARLIC, LIONFISH). So the output of a rendered preset of a filter with FFEasyRender will be the same as shown in the GUI of FilterForge (for ...

  • LAB#3015 Skybase
Author: Skybase. I then took it a bit further. Betis said you could loop it by using seamless tiling and behold, it works. Now with colors changing as well. This was all made using FilterForge 6. No additional software other than a batch renderer. There are no keyframes other than a master slider that controls the time variable. :) Funny thing FilterForge has 0 animation functionality. heh. http://i.imgur.com/pksdjwF.gif

  • Batch GUI Tool for Windows
Author: Mardar. Hi aba, I just started testing this and love it. I have a question. If I make a load of tiles in someones filter and then batch render them, will the filter author get credit for it? I wasn't sure if it is directly connected to Filter Forge counter yet as it is in beta. I hope the author is getting credit. :( Also can this post be pinned by the mods so I can find it quickly?...

  • Layers and Layers by Skybase
... Reminds me of a project I did where I actually had to cut a forest of tiny tree stumps out of 3 brown colored cards, and glue them is layers. Not gonna happen again! :dead: Gilles, how on earth... did you transform the video to an image sequence and batch rendered it all, or did you use photoshop's video editor? :?:

  • What's current status of Mac batch rendering options?
Author: Lorenzosart. I'm a non-coding artist who needs a script to apply all presets of one filter to a single image file. None of the solutions I've found via these forums seem to work on my Mac mini running Monterey 12.2.1. If none exist, I'll pay someone to create one... assuming I can afford it. :-) Any ideas/pointers/volunteers?

  • Gigantic Image Sizes - they work!
Author: Skybase. Although this was some time ago, I remember when both of us saw Suburbia by ThreeDee (the day it went on the Editor's Pick) he just launched himself into render mode. He has 2 separate computers. Because he's a total render-freak. 1 computer dedicated to process batches, the other for his work. All I know is that its a intel-quad core running windows. He hasn't really told me anything beyond it. But the moment it rendered, he was happy enough to zoom and zoom out of all the details he can find.

  • Proper batch tools = instant FF4 upgrade
Author: SpaceRay. The main interested about this feature and that started this thread was spaz8 and there is no news from, so I sent him the great news that he does not have to wait until the FF team includes batch rendering inside FF because this is NOW possible thanks to great work of aba, so as he said that this would be an instant upgrade, now can be done.

  • Trigger a sequence/batch of filters
Author: graphic_dude. Hi GMM, thank you for your help! I wasn't aware about the batch renderer, so I'll check this out because it will improve my workflow for sure! Please also consider the 2 other feature requests we talked about in this thread : - 1) being able to stack filters in FF's GUI (post #2) - 2) being able to save multiple ...

  • Proper batch tools = instant FF4 upgrade
Author: SpaceRay. Anyone else have tried to make batch render with actions in Photoshop? I would like to share your experiences and ideas about this and so could be possible to get the most of it as it seems that Vladimir will not change this in FF 4.0 and we will have to wait until another version. ...

  • Another FF Batch Renderer on the block (Cross-Platform)
Author: Hafgandil. Heyho, new Version of the Batch Renderer. • [BUG] Commandline renderer crashes (Staff: Fixed)
... left. 2 FF says it can't find my xml file, although it is in the same directory as the ".bat" file and the version 4 renderer works without specifying the full path. If I extend to the full path of the xml file in the commandline in the batch file, it is rendering. :) So please, solve the three issues (crashing (administrator rights needed to run), authorisation problem (trial version) and the need of the full path length). Are this 3 bug points? ;)

  • Batch Rendering
Author: Burt. Hello. I am looking to see if there is an easy way to take a filter I created and just render X amount of images to a folder, basically pushing the 'Next Variant' button and outputting 50 variations which I can run overnight. I read about online ffbatch and tried but the page does not deliver a zip file - just a blank php page. :/ I also ...

  • how to save all map at once
Author: SpaceRay. As far as I remember there is already a GUI based interface tool to be able to render all the maps in batch (render all of them and save them without having to do it manually each one) but do not know exactly which is now Do you use Windows OS or Mac OS ? Because it depends of which you have, the tool could be available or not I agree very much that is ...

  • Slow.. slow... slow...
Author: SpaceRay. "Vincs wrote: I can take a screenshot SpaceRay, but i use the Command line batch with a default xml for rendering. " I wonder if the speed of the FF command line rendered is the same than the one using the full version of filter forge (I mean the software open) "By the way the Mystery of why Vincs got this very slow render times is STILL ...

  • Batch GUI Tool for Windows
Author: Grimbly. I did find a bit of a workaround for it for now at least. If you copy the FF7 library folder in the AppData folder and label it as FF6 then redirect the batch tool to use the FF7 CMD Renderer it seems to work just fine. Kinda whacky to manage it if you keep making new filters and such often though :) Hopefully, that helps anyone else with FF7 who wishes to use this super handy tool too.

  • Visual Batch Renderer errors

Some outputfiles are named png some jpg; opening jpg in viewer says wrong extension it is png. crash durings tasks. Is there somewhere a logfile?
