  • Pay you for Batch Render. Smile all the way to the bank :)
Author: FFCreator. I have updated FFEasyRender (my batch renderer for FF). It now supports FilterForge till version 10 (beta). Free to use, but I 'll accept donations (hint, see "PayPal button" on my website). You can download it from my website: https://www.ipadtouches.com/ffeasyrender-for-filter-forge/

  • Good job with v6
Author: DeFlaminis. Very good job with v6 of FF. Can't believe how fast it is compared to 5, it's like night and day. Keep up the good work! Now we just need a batch renderer GUI and FF has basically got it all. Kudos! Best Regards, AJ

  • Taking it to the next step- Animated filters!
... it's sort of like the difference between real wood and those imitation veneer things" I'd say that's a question of whether you want a fast and slim browser (i.e. Firefox) or something else... ;) :D But back to topic: Did I say we need batch render? :dgrin:

  • Opening multiple instances of Filterforge
Author: onyXMaster. Craig, you will write an XML file containing batch jobs, like: a) open filter "Test" b) render preset #3, save it to PNG file named "Test-3.png", 16-bit per channel, maximum compression c) render preset #5, save it to Windows bitmap file "Test-5.bmp", 8-bit per pixel, flipped row order d) open filter "Test2" ...

  • Off the Deep End with ThreeDee
Author: ThreeDee. As for the deep end, I had the idea that you could render out the tracking coordinates of a light source from After Effects as two values (R and G channels for instance) and use them as the X and Y inputs for FF. Thus you could batch animate the Lens Flare to follow an object.

  • wormhole by MichaelTannock
... created an animation timeline for my filter, the result of this can be viewed here in a 4 second clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ptm0trFZeaQ" Cool. If only I weren't such a lazy bastard, I'd be doing FF animations too! ;) Can I say 'Batch Render'... again... please... !!!

  • Batch Processor with Mathematica
... the sequence necessary to get this thing to spit out rendered files. Steps 4, 7, and 8 have two options depending on whether you are: a) Using 1 image with multiple settings (as in animation) on the left b) Using multiple images with 1 setting (batch rendering) on the right

  • Opening multiple instances of Filterforge
Author: KGtheway2B. I know there's no batch rendering in FF, but I would really love the ability to just set my pc to a task and come back a couple hours later and have a bunch of textures made up. Is there a way I can open ff multiple times and set each instance to the task of rendering out a ...

  • Batch Processing 1 Image with Hundreds of Factory Filters
Author: davidgpf. I need to process a single image with hundreds of factory filters and as many presets as possible (non-stacked). I tried using FFEasyRender but the filters must be added one by one to the render job. This is not feasible. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance :)

  • Batch rendering using photoshop actions.
Author: GMM. Hi, and welcome to the forums! I'm afraid I can't help with Photoshop actions, but have you tried Filter Forge built-in batch renderer (https://filterforge.com/more/help/Miscellaneous/CommandLineRenderer.html)? You might be able to batch-render 360 images in Filter Forge and then blend them in Photoshop.

  • batches for all
Author: Totte. Sjeiti, I've thought I make a go to write a batch renderer for Mac OS X, so the Wiki might be good so I can see what features you use and how to define what params to modify, ranges etc etc. Anyone interested in a Mac OS X version at all?

  • Automatic render and naming of various maps
Author: Sphinx.. Batch rendering and preset morphing (along with keyframing) would indeed be very cool 8) Kraellin, IIRC jpeg size is very hard (if not impossible) to predict without actually encoding the image - so a precise solution would have to reencode the image each ...

  • Filter Forge update 1.013
Author: jffe. "Sjeiti wrote: Pity you can only render presets with the batch" ----So that means no random stuff then I would assume, and does that also mean it can't be set to create a rendered image and then run it through other filters and such ? Only being able to render presets sounds pretty 1990/primitive really....

  • 2.0 teaser?
Author: CFandM. "Vladimir Golovin wrote: We're finishing the website preparations and running a batch render of all library filters to make sure we didn't break backward compatibility. Plus I've just approved a beta press release. Expect the news next week. " That is GREAT NEWS Vlad.. :hammer: :loveff:

  • a seemingly Basic feature is missing. Pause / Resume
... almost A YEAR AND A HALF old and we still don't have a simple pause button? Sheesh ... I guess I'll have to get OTHER software to hack something FF should already do, huh? Let's start counting the software: 1. One for Pause render 2. One for Batch render 3. One for .... This is kind of ridiculous if you ask me ...

  • batches for all
Author: Sjeiti. Not a chance :-p Unless FF implements batch rendering in V2. When I started this I was thinking to make it an Air application but it was easier (=faster) to make it with jQuery and PHP so that's what I did. But if people can think of extra useful functionality they can suggest it here.

  • Command-Line Renderer related issues
Author: GMM. No, the log file is created only when a critical error occurs. With non-critical errors, the renderer only shows the error info in the console, and proceeds to the next job. You can use the 'FFXCmdRenderer-x86-SSE2.exe batch.xml > C:\log.txt' command to redirect all output from the console to the C:\log.txt file.

  • PixelSlaughter tryout death metal
Author: SpaceRay. Well, for Batch processing there is more than the command line renderer, please see the FF Wiki (http://filterforge.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page) and search for the part where is put "External Filter Forge tools" As far as I know FF is not compatible with After Effects, only with some still 2D graphics ...

  • Optimizations, 64bit native, CUDA support
... well such as some % gains in parallel processing speed or something along those lines. Adding GPU support obviously speeds up render times even further, in some cases a whole lot further. They do still have to contend directly with Genetica and Allegorithmic's ... ... lineup. So it's in their best interest ultimately to make it as desirable as possible. Genetica already has the ability to do batching and create animations, which they have yet to implement for FF despite the many attempts by the community to get them ...
