... Dismissed By Walter Pincus and Dana Milbank Washington Post Staff Writers Thursday, June 17, 2004; Page A01 The Sept. 11 commission reported yesterday that it has found no "collaborative relationship" between Iraq and al Qaeda, challenging one of the Bush administration's main justifications for the war in Iraq. Along with the contention that Saddam Hussein was stockpiling weapons of mass destruction, President Bush, Vice President Cheney and other top administration officials ...

  • Hiring Filter creators
Author: davis4459. I cannot find a reference to a list of filter creator contractors. I would like to hire a filter designer for a very specific drawing style. It's will be an interesting challenge because it might be close to impossible to achieve.

  • GF Underwater Maker by Ghislaine
Author: Ghislaine. Sharks ! Big challenge for me ! :?: As said, "It'd probably be the slowest filter EVER" and it will take few days just for trying curves and gradients, etc... I have started a fish yesterday. Just done few things on. But a shark, we never know ! :)

  • Sunsets
Author: Redcap. :D ;) In refenrence to your challenge, the original sunset is a photo, no FF; How do I know you ask. 1, it isn't a square and most images posted by forum members from FF are squares. 2, it has wheat at the bottom of it, to realistic looking wheat.

  • Suggest a new filter.
Author: ThreeDee. Oh god, you guys are hilarious. I did, by the way, seriously consider taking up the challenge of making an "age regressor/progressor" filter. Then I started to consider how exciting an age-regressed or an age-progressed lifesaver would look...

  • Filter Competition :)
Author: Crapadilla. "StevieJ wrote: I'm sure FF would come up with something challenging that you couldn't resist .....and is that free copies of FF on disc with everyone at FF autographing it???" Well, if it were a command-line batch render utility that supported keyframing... ;)

  • Challenge 1: Circular Gradient
Author: byRo. "Quasimondo wrote: Yeah great! That was my original intent of this challenge - to use the gradient as a base for circular distortions." Like Polar Coordinates (http://www.filterforge.com/forum/read.php?FID=9&TID=516&MID=2618#message2618) :D Rô

  • Quadrilateral Challenge
Author: uberzev. AKA 4 sided polygon where you can choose the location of each of the points. I've come up with a pretty nifty solution but it breaks when you try to move things around too much. http://i.imgur.com/Uqcqv.jpg

  • Slider for multi blend
Author: Betis. hehe :D I had some inspiration from some gradual blur filter experiments from a long time ago. I must say it's not terribly efficient in space or processing power as I'm sure ThreeDee can do it in 7 nodes or less (hint: challenge :!: )

  • Please, any expert that want to optimize this filter for higher speed?
Author: SpaceRay. Thanks Skybase and Carl for acepting the challenge :) Very well done bringing the filter to HALF the time !! and only looses a bit of detail in the softer smokes, so not a drastic change as you said. Good. Let´s see what Skybase can do

  • Im entitled to change my mind :)
Author: StevieJ. Volde, I have to give you credit for this one.....playing around with yours gave me an idea to come up with this. It's totally different constrruction, but the concept came from you.....so keep putting up these challenges :)

  • But why
Author: Carl. The basic premise for smoke is rudamentry but getting a billowing effect with correct looking tonal change is more of a challenge for me, it's probly one those things of once you find the solution it's bleeding obvious and why did'nt I think of that in the first place :D ........... Carl

  • Underwater-caustics from normalmap?
Author: Rachel Duim. Good stuff. I am going back to school, so to speak. Gotta get my trigonometry skills back up to speed. Haven't used trig or calculus much since college. Caustics are a future challenge, again, thanks for the snippet.

  • Brilliant by Sjeiti
Author: Sjeiti. Thanks... :-) I needed the correct brilliant form so all I did was trace this: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/3a/Diamond_facets.svg It was quite a challenge to create those facets without having to rotate anything. ... and yours is very cool as well :)
