Prizes and Trialexpiration
... everybody!
Well, since my trial time is coming to an end, I wonder how the HU prize awarding works regarding the trial period. I mean, after your trial period has expired, are you still eligible to receive HU prizes and then get a copy of FF or once your trial has expired so is your chance to get HU prizes?

Author: namrettek. I launched filter forge 3 today and it said my 30 day trial has expired.
I installed it (and downloaded it) on the 16th of March.
I'm a bit disapointed that I could not try it out more than a couple of times.

... see an article on slashdot about photoshop filters, then there's a link to the filter forge software that I thought looked pretty cool.
I download the trial, go through the set up procedure.. anxiously fire it up and it immediately tells me that my trial has expired.

FF Did NOT honor 30 trial period - and expired early!!!

I was awarded a free copy for being a beta tester, only now it's telling me my copy is expired :( I was so thrilled, and I went to open it up (I've been having filter forge withdrawls...) and it told me my 30 day trial had expired... ???

As far as I know you there are none, and is fully working and without any limitation and you can also submit filters
3 - If I did not own FF before and was just using FF 3.0 trial or FF 4.0 beta and the trialexpired, would I be able to use the full 30 days of the FF 4.0.7 trial before needing the key?
I own FF 3.0 Pro and was using FF 4.0 beta 2 with the extended beta license (more than 30 days) and so I can´t know about this, but I think that as this ...
It Does Not Run at All With Windows 7
... 30-day trial period has expired and I must purchase a license. I installed it today, so something is wrong here. I uninstalled and reinstalled it once today while trying to figure out why it was not working as advertised. Can someone help get around this trialexpired issue?

Yes.....it continues after your trial has expired.....so you still can get the free copy as soon as you get 3 HUs.....
Did you request a time extension from FF???.....I believe they will grant you a couple of time extensions if you request them......

This makes me very angry.
More, the first time I downloaded FF3 I asked the beta key it was because the trial version expired instantly.
I don't think this is a serious behaviour.
I hope someone cracked the program soon so I won't have all these problems anymore.

Difference between FF Beta 3.0 key for customers and non-customers
... versions until the commercial version is released. Any changes within the beta don't affect your registration. We may call them Beta Stages for marketing purposes, or make silent updates, no matter.
If you are not a customer you should be using a trial version (which will probably expire before we release the next beta version).
Hope this should make things clear.

Author: Randy Anderson. Yeah.... not happy. I also experienced the shortest 30 day trial ever. So... why am I pissed? I did as the warning dialog prompted. The choice (after telling me that the trail period had expired) was to cancel or purchase. This would lead a person with average intelligence to believe a purchase would result in the expiration being lifted. It doesn't help that I rendered something using FF and sent to a customer and they bought it. Now ...
