Suggestion: the surface of a hockey rink. It would be similar to Crapadilla's Ice Age filter, except instead of cracks there would be lots of scratches to suggest being skated on.

I saw this on a tv show the other day, and here's a cropped screencap of the pillow/material design. I tried to do it, and after an hour I was eh, 1/2 to 60% there, but I was hanging up on it mentally as to how to get the rest, and surely it can't be that tough really ha-ha.

Filter that creates a dial (of a clock/ watch / speedometer /compass).
Variable scales and ray shapes with numbers attached. Circle or square shapes .... Big playground... Thanks! regards, rilos |

There are some methods that already exsist for dealing with text..Thou I haven't thought about it in a while I am sure there are different ways to do the same thing..These are not the only filters thou..Check the library.... Some of my methods.. http://www.filterforge.com/filters/1849.html http://www.filterforge.com/filters/1869.html Then the first text filter by Ken and byRo.. http://www.filterforge.com/forum/read...essage1990 Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |

from what viewpoint would you like the muzzle flash, front on, from behind, sideways, what?

hmmm thats the tough part because i would need just about every angle. thinking it would almost need to be like two filters, one to do the head on flash then one to do the out the barrel directional flash.

I've used Flaregen to get some cool results, but there could certainly be a dedicated filter for the purpose. http://www.filterforge.com/filters/2201.html A better filter might be more "flamey".

I still need one HU point...
Guess I need to upload some filters that are good and actually useful. I've gots tons of filters and filter experiments, but haven't shared them or really done much with them at all (it's a long story). Most of the time I don't even know what I should work on, let alone what I should share with others. I'm feeling a bit better these days and have a bit of energy to work, and a bit of motivation to share so I want to go with it. Oh, and I need another HU point. How many people are even using v1 right now? Is it pointless for me to try now that the v2 beta is out? |

nah, keep submitting on v1. you'll get your HU. FF hasnt kept going on just us few around here on the forums. there's lots of users out there and certainly not all of those are using v2 and some probably dont even know v2 is in beta. so, keep submitting

![]() Since we won't be able to submit fiters from version2 for many more months and the beta stadges... I would say that I agree with craig...Not all are using version2 maybe for those reasons...So keep on submitting.. ![]() Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |

I was going to put this in a different section but thought this was just to cool and some interesting ideals might be generated out of this..I was putting up a vid on you tube and ran accross one where a lcd was broke but still turned on and a guy shot video of what happens when the cracks are pushed on..Fractal City...

I use alot of frames, mostly feathering ones in white. But I sure do love the Film Frame but I don't want it in black! Is there any chance someone could make something like the film frame, or some grungy looking feathering one?

Use whatever you used to make the underside of that mushroom and make it the iris of an eye. Would instantly make another killer eye filter.

sellotape
I would really like some sellotape filters thus allowing me to age an image and have sellotape stuck around the edges etc. see like this example here http://tinyurl.com/yhs6fmz note how different type of sellotape around the image. this would be a smashing one to have in an already brilliant arsnel of filters. any way hope your all great k success is a stairway and not a doorway |

Man, I must really have an EYE for these things! Jim Niehues: That's a pretty sharp idea! Biggest problem in my mind is dictating where the tape will land. The FF2 bomber with some sort of selection input would probably work best. With FF1, I'm sure the "look" could be accomplished easily, but usability/controls of the filter would probably suffer. |
