currently, i cannot sel ect all of the components in says, FF2 and hit copy and then close FF2 and open FF3 and paste said components into FF3. yes, i know i could move a given filter over fr om FF2 into FF3 and then do the copy-paste, but it would be simpler, many times, to just be able to open FF2 and do it that way. i do understand that doing the opposite, FF3 into FF2, could be destructive, but even there, i tend to like to be able to have the freedom to screw it all up, ya know? anyways, it's not a huge deal, but would be nice.

You can open an ffxml in any text editor, copy everything from <COMPONENTS> to </COMPONENTS> and paste that into another ffxml file.
