this might be possible to simulate with gradients and such, but i'd like to see a slider which scales when slid. that means that as you move it from minimum towards maximum, it doesnt increase in a linear progression, like 1, 2, 3; instead, you get a progression that increases by x amount each tick of the slider, like 1, 3, 6, 12, 24, etc. now, that's just an example and, X could actually be another part of the slider which the user could set and change within the filter and gui. so, the control would actually have two parts, the slider itself and then the rate part that sets how much each tick of the slider increases (or decreases, for that matter).
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

ah, i figured some clever person could make sliders scale. still, i'd like it in a component smile:)
