I found myself using the frame option in the building of a filter and discovered that I can't get the inner content to be transparent. I only want to affect the outside edge of an image so this would be a great feature in that component.

I'm sure there's ways around it using combinations of other filters but this seemed like a simple idea that would greatly extend it.

Wire a *Set Alpha* component into the *Contents* input of the frame, set the *Set Alpha* to source = pure white, and new alpha to zero.

You could also just set the alpha value of the 'Contents' color field to zero via the color picker... smile;)

Thanks for the ideas! I'll let you know if I get it where I want it.

take a color control, plug it into 'contents' and set the color control to fully transparent.
