Rhomb 2, Rhomb 3, and Hexagon all stretch your source image in addition to the expected scaling and rotation. This is done to maintain proper tiling but is not always desired, such as when you'd like true symmetry.

yeah, I think the idea of a non 1:1 workspace is desirable. Be nice of course if all tools adapted to fit whatever aspect was loaded, however I imagine such a thing would be a living hell to program. smile:)

That's impossible in the current architecture because these patterns would require a non-square tiling area.
