Maybe also draw some new talent this way by offering completions..I also can donate some HUs for a couple of rounds..

I think there needs to be a general agreement amongst all of us on the terms of the contest.....since it looks like Vlad is not going to get involved in this.....

With all those donated programs and HUs, this could be very interesting with catagories, grand prize, etc.....

Also, with that significant amount of rewards, I would suggest stretching the contest out for at least 2 months.....to allow more people and subsequently more filters involved in it.....more "bang for the buck" from all those awards.....

All the software I have mentioned is legitimate software, as if i wouldn't be ?!?!

Anyway - I have decided to offer only one prize for this competition and that is

Adobe Photoshop CS boxed with CD's and manuals

Other people can offer something, software, FF HU's or FF lifetime updates or whatever

Perhaps if there is another competition at some point I will donate more

I'm loathe to setting terms, perhaps other people can do that, including yourself perhaps, I'm stowed off with work at the monent and to be honest haven't got the time...

But as for what kind of filters I would like to see are metallic texture filters, similar to Stevie's 'Alien Metallix' filter, l love that kind of thing...

I think it is wiser to stretch out the prizes, more filters!!!! Yeah!!!

As far as rules for the competetion I say let us make a compromise of all the things discussed in this forum and start the thing off ASAP.

Lenght: 1 1/2 months (5 weeks)Starting June 2 till mid July.

When submitting a filter just put the word C1 in the keywords of the filter, so when you search for entries in the competetion we just have to write C1 to find all the competetion entries. After the competetion these keywords can be erased to make the filter seem professional.

Judging. I vote for a panel of three judges awarding points per filter. Each judge judges one aspect of the filter and can award a point, that way authors will revise bad filters and then it will inspire more filters to be submitted for those who want to win. The author with the most points wins the competetion.

That is just my take, anyway I say we at least start submitting filters come Monday.
