ok, the title says it, but i would REALLY LOVE to see this! i'm sure it's possible, theoretically, but i have no idea on how much time and resources it would take to do. knowing vladimir, he's already thinking about it and way the hell ahead of me, but i just thought i'd put my +1... hell, +100 in here on this smile:)

trust me, this would sell! i have an ipad 2, ipad 4, an asus android pad and an iphone 4s. i'm on the road a lot these days and it's just too much to take a computer with me, even a laptop, but an ipad, yeah, that's with me always. imagine being on the road, nothing to do in your motel room or whatever and you could pull out your ipad and work on filters or photos! that would be the bomb!

i expect to see this within the next few months! lol. (it would be nice smile:) ) smile:D

I carry my Samsung Tab with me everyday and SO WISH I could do my artwork on it. I can create the base paintings (My favorite painting program did port themselves to the Android OS..yay!), but I have to wait until I get home to do the filtering. Boo hiss.

As we slide into 2016....maybe?? :>

Let's look at this from another side: Windows is starting to gain momentum on the tablet market. Check out the price and specs of this device, for example. Some experts say Windows tablets may occupy over 25% of the tablet market within two years. And we already have the Windows version of Filter Forge that works great smile:)

I agree with GMM that the best thing to do now if you want to have FF on a tablet, is to get a tablet that can use Windows 10, and so the compatibility is directly and is available now

of course that the problem is to all the users of Android only or iPad that can not use Windows 10 on their tablets, but I do not think that Ff team will make any FF Version for Android or iOS as they are different way of working

also be aware that FF is a power hungry software, and you should have a tablet with a powerful and fast processor and recommended to have enough RAM

I've never heard of HK and have a little trouble buying unfamiliar technology. I'd have to find reviews on it. And....I'll do a kickstarter to raise $$ for a new tablet. smile:D lolol

I agree, I do the same, as for technology must be careful of what brand you buy, as it could happen that the cheap could cost you much more in long term and give you more troubles

The HK is not the only one as far as I know and there are other more known brands available, although may be

There are also other alternatives as the new Laptops computers that are ALSO tablets, I mean that you can detach the screen and convert it into a tablet, but I think that these are more expensive than normal Windows 10 tablets

Does this mean that if I have a windows based tablet, I will be able to use Filter forge on the tablet? and how would it work with the menus, options and settings if the screen is touch enabled only? Can I connect a mouse to the tablet?

Sorry that I have never used a windows based tablet and do not know how it works

As Filter forge needs much CPU power, how would it work on a windows tablet?

If you have a Win-based tablet you'll be able to run any Windows program on it smile:)

I bet you can.

It doesn't really differ much from a small laptop.

Well... what do you think yourself? You are not going to do 3D modeling on the road, right? And to give a small-to-medium sized photo a comic look even a weak and slow mobile processor would suffice.

Maybe change the topic title to "FF for Ipad and android?" with a question mark, so my heart doesn't skip a beat? smile;)

Thanks for your answer GMM, good to know

So having a Windows based tablet is the same as having a windows based laptop.

I wrote the original post in January of 2014. That's almost five years ago. Will we ever see FF for the iPad or even a stripped down version for it? Anything in the works on this?
