1. When clicking on presets of a filter, please change so it only requires a single 1. When clicking on presets of a filter, please change so it only requires a single click instead of a double.

2. When saving a filter effect back into Photoshop, place it on it's own layer. Otherwise we have to remember to duplicate the layer before launching FF. I use NIK & OnOne a lot & both export back to PS on a separate layer.

3. Add the ability to add multiple filters before saving, instead of having to add one filter at a time.

4. Any way to speed up rendering would be helpful.

Sorry to say that is would be a bad thing, because the one click and double click selection of presets is there for something, if you replace the double click by single click you would not be able to sel ect any preset and would be automatically applied the preset that you select. Also would be a problem to upd ate it.

THINGS DONE WITH ONE CLICK OVER PRESET

I mean that is good that there is the single click to:

1 - select one or more presets if you want to delete them

2 - Use one click to select a preset and then go to se ttings tab to see the values stored in that preset without having to apply this preset

3 - Be able to select the preset and update it

4 - Be able to copy and paste the preset

Well, I am sorry to tell you that this is not possible to be done in FF, because a problem with SDK and some legal issues with Adobe

the biggest problem with layers is that Photoshop SDK 6.0 doesn't support them. Later Adobe SDKs do provide access to layers, however, these SDKs are for Adobe products only, which means we would have no support for non-Adobe software like PaintShop Pro, Corel PhotoPaint, Ulead PhotoImpact etc.

Actually, it is technically possible to include two plugins into Filter Forge installer, one built with an SDK that supports layers (to be installed for Adobe-only software) and the second one built on SDK 6.0 (to be installed for non-Adobe hosts).

But last time I checked, the EULA for the new SDKs was just plain scary -- there were clauses like "Adobe can stop the distribution of your product that uses the SDK if it competes with Adobe's software". At that time, we definitely didn't want "to be bound by the terms of this Agreement".

Layer Integration

I have suggested this before

Could it be possible to save the result of a filter a PSD with layers?

As far as I know this would be possible in some way to be included in FF, but it has been confirmed that it will not be included in FF 4.0.

BUT there is a good news, this is already available now if you use the awesome and very well done FF Batch Tool

I have also suggested this before

Would be possible MULTIPLE FILTER EFFECTS applied to the SAME image ?

OH YES!!! I totally agree much with this request, it would be really helpful, wonderful, useful and awesome if FF could have a faster render engine

If FF could be faster would be like heaven on earth
