I think that the best way to help the FF team and ourselves to be able to solve the mystery of why on some computers Filter Forge can´t render with higher resolutions is to put here a list of the bug reports that FF give and so FF team will be able to see what is happening.

Please if you are having problems and rendering errors with high resolution images, help us also with your own bug reports to help the FF team and ourselves to solve and fix this

joBox, your anger is useless unless you provide more details. What is your OS, it is 32-bit or 64-bit, do you use Filter Forge in the plugin mode (if yes - under which host app) and – the most important – what is the exact error message you get.

Yes, you are totally right, perhaps the important key to solving the mistery and fixing the possible bugs is to know EXACTLY WHEN AND HOW the error happens.

We must take not of every single error and make a FF bug report of each one, and note also which filter has been used and if it was in standalone or plugin mode, and under which host.

So having all this important information the FF team could really find and know what is happening and could be able to reproduce the errors themselves and be able to find the solution.

So thinking on all these things I think that I will make some tests and will take good note of any error I find and put it here in the forum to help the FF team.

I regret I did not take note of the many rendering errors I had before, but from now on I will do it and put it here and so it could be found a solution for this as really this is the only way to do it, because the FF team are not magicians or does not have the crystall ball to know what is happening if we do not give them the bug reports FF gives us.

I have tried to render a 4819 x 2825 JOG (not very high resolution) image and got this error I put below from the bug report

I get frequently similar errors like this

Any information of what is happening ?

ERROR BUG REPORT

The original bug report had 465.000 symbols, and the forum only allows 64.000 so I have reduced it much to put it here

I wanted to help FF solve in a better way this problem and have sent them many bug reports and wanted that others could also help but seems that nobody have posted any help here and I wonder if they have at least sent bug reports of the bad allocation error to the FF team so they could have more information and know how many persons are having this problem and are interested to solve it.
