I suposse that you are using it on Windows as it is "bugs on Windows".
Is it Windows 32 bits or 64 bits ? If it is 64 bits, have installed it in the "X86 Programs" folder so it is compatible with 64 bits ? Have you tried to uninstall it, and then reinstall it again ? If this does not work, you would probably need to clean the registry, I use the free software CCleaner for this, www.ccleaner.com and this is safe to do it if you make a backup of the registry (the program will offer you to make this backup), I have solved some problems this way. What other programs do you have in your windows startup that are already loaded ? Which security software (antivirus/firewall/spyware and malware prevention) you have installed if any ? Does it keep non working after a fresh start of windows? When you make double click on the filter forge icon nothing happens? |

Cerridwen, do you use Filter Forge as a standalone program or in the plugin mode?

I have the same problem. It doesn't want to start at all. I tried to use it as a plug-in and as standalone version. I have Windows 64 bit. I disabled antivirus and firewall, added exceptions etc. but still nothing. I remember I had the same problem with version 2.

Please confirm you've followed these instructions on making Comodo compatible with Filter Forge.
