Attempting to download filters results (after a LONG pause) in an error message of "Initial data download failed. Reason: 'get_families_versions_list() failed.'."

			Still can't download.

Note this isn't the beta; it's the full version. I'm bumping this in the hopes it can attract some attention from support and get resolved, especially since it's apparently not a unique situation and others are affected too. |

Whoa. Freaky. Before heading off to bed, I decided to try again for no real reason, and it worked. So not sure what it might have been; if it happens again, I'll post here.

I can´t help on this as it does not happen to me on 2.011, but if you search for the error in google as I have done here you will probably find a solution that has been answered before, as this seems not be new.

I do not know if this is the same and the fix given by GMM could work, see this other thread ---> http://ns.filterforge.com/forum/read....8&TID=7547 HAVE YOU TRIED TO DOWNLOAD FILTER WHITIN FF AND NOT FROM WEBSITE? I think that probably you can´t download filters from the online library, but have you tried to do it from inside filter forge itself from the included filter library download ?
Here you can see the main differences I have found between both ways of download available http://www.filterforge.com/forum/read...5&TID=8939 Technical support from FF is not available on weekends, so you must wait until tomorrow monday, if you can´t solve it. |

Thank you SpaceRay for the help ( I didn't know aboout built in browser.)

Anyways, it automagicaly started working again a bit later, so it is certainly some server-side issue |
