Beta Release Block

I totally agree with you and I do not why FF have released an unusable beta version and have forced you to download the not working new beta 3 version leaving all FF users WITHOUT any FF 3 for a whole weekend!!!

I agree with you that there should be no interruption of my use of FF unless I choose to update to the new version when I have seen that IT WORKS right and I can trust in it to install.

I think that probably there is more to this. I do not know how they tested it to be able to decide to release it, but probably tested and uploaded a corrupt or bad version instead of the real working one.

But what is bad is that when they release it the previous one is blocked so you can´t continue making any work you have been doing and they do not give any warning of when they are going to release the new beta and block the old one, they do it by surprise and leave you with nothing if the beta freezes and is non working like this one.

At least they could have told that on friday the new beta would be released and you could know to make any work you have pending BEFORE friday so if something would happen with the new beta you will not be blocked and with unfinished projects for a WHOLE weeekend.

And if they release the beat ON FRIDAY there should be someone from FF that verifies and check that the beta is working and should at least be here at least one day to see that the beta IS WORKING and do not leave all FF users without nothing all the weekend
