In the middle of my "Rotate All Angles" filter I needed a contrast of exactly 2x.
That is 75% grey would become 100%, and 25% would become 0%. After a bit of trial and error I discovered that the value needed was about 41.42 but even that was not exact. That 41.42 looks familiar (1.4142 ![]() So in the end if I simply want to (exactly) double the contrast, I would have to enter the exact value for the square root of two - which I can't! ![]() ![]() Seeing as the FFFolk were so quick to solve the -100% Contrast problem, maybe there's a way to make the contrast control a little more "user-friendly". ![]() Rô _________________________________

byRo -- if I understand this correctly, you need Multiply, not Contrast. Hopefully the upcoming Color Math components will solve this problem. |

Only if the Multiply uses 50% grey as the origin. ![]() That is: 50% = 0; 0% = -1; 100% = +1. If, however, it works straight (0% -> 100% : 0 -> 1) then that wouldn't do the trick. Rô _________________________________

Yep, you will be able to set Multiplier Max to 2 and Multiplier Min to 0, that should solve the problem.
