Here is the filter I was working with. This is before the problem started.

Then I plugged in the components framed in the viewport of this filter.

Here is how the stones component looks on my computer if I select the second preset.

I meant to say blocks not stones. smile:| And I probably should have said editor not viewport.

I'm probably just overlooking something simple or it may be a problem specific to my computer - XP pro SP3, 4GB.

it's your machine. works fine on mine. i see the whole pattern on the blocks component rather than that gray gradient looking thing.

oh, just reduce the shape size. your shape size is so large it's creating a near solid. that's why it's like how it is. just remap it a bit.

Crap. I can't believe I didn't notice that. Only one input to blocks and I didn't bother to check it. Makes me wonder how I got as far along on it as I have.

Thanks for looking at it Craig. smile:)

I don't mind. I have my 8 hu's. Besides, my filters may be good for noobs because I don't do anything clever, clumsy and roundabout sometimes, but always straight ahead. I opened one of Blackney's the other day and I was totally lost. smile:deer:

Right. Any of my filters that use anything of uberzev, byRo or ThreeDee's snippets are clever by proxy.
