Hi everybody,

there was a filter called 'Bad-TV' and another filter
called 'Advances Pixelator' which I had downloades some
times ago. They were in the folder Effect_miscalleneous -
now I cant find them any more.

Is this due to the funny filter updates where my own
filter folders get corrupted every time I connect to
filterforge???

I really hate when filter get lost or put into other folder
or get renamed...
How should I find them again ??

Any help or suggestions?

Thanks,
Rilos
regards, rilos

Yes thats it!

Thanks a lot Guys!

I'm sure I had downloaded them a while ago,
why were they gone?

What happens when the author renames a filter or changes it?

How can I prevent my filterfolders from beeing overwritten
with changed or renamed filters?
When I download a new filter, the complete filterstructure is
overwritten I guess.

Thanks again,
Rilos

By the way, you may search for filters by their id, not only by name, author, keywords, etc.

For example: http://www.filterforge.com/filters/se...q=1234&h=r

Space... it seems to go on and on forever. But then you get to the end and a gorilla starts throwing barrels at you.

Talking about filter search. Another day I was using it, and noticed that some filters are "missing" some keywords that would be helpful in the search. So, here is a suggestion to FF team.

Maybe FF team would add in the site or into FF a way to members contribute with keywords. So, members would edit keywords form FF software or FF site and submit them to FF team, that under approval would be added/updated to a filter. Well something like that.

Cheers.

Why impossible to add keywords to filters manually?
If i add keywords, i must to save filter with loosing copyright!

This is craziness!

The filters authors create the keywords when they create the filters..
When you do that manually a new instance of the filter is created and saved to your "My Filters" folder which is why you loose that other info....
Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times!
