Hiya, has anyone hit this before?

I've been downloading a lot of filters, and they rock, but today Filterforge is unavailable: See pic.

The even weirder thing is that I also use a plugin called fluid mask, and its gone too. Argh x2.

This is perfect for grinding things to a halt, but not good for productivity overall.

It just occurred to find the FF standalone, hopefully thats still operational.

THks

a little more info here would be helpful. what o/s are you running and what build (service packs and such?)? and when you say it's gone, do you mean gone from the desktop, from the start menu, from windows explorer or what? have you rebooted your machine and did anything show back up? have you had any bad crashes lately? installed any 'odd' software lately? uninstalled anything recently and if so, what did you do? give us something to go on here.

This might occur because you try to use Filter Forge on an unsupported image type, i.e. black-and-white (Bitmap in Photoshop terms), grayscale (I strongly believe this is the case when looking at a screenshot you provided), Duotone or indexed color, or trying to use FF when having a single image channel selected.

Hiya

XP Pro, service pack 2

The files seem intact, but the plugins are greyed out as you can see

Photoshop Elements 3(Has worked with FF up until now)

No difference on reboot, No difference on reinstalling FF still have to try reinstalling PS Elements.

No Bad Crashes, No random software installed lately except a bunch of filters(100 maybe)

Havent uninstalled anything.

the only thing Ive done is download a bunch of filters. I guess I'll reinstall pshop and see what happens, the standalone is still working.

Im just trying the-

Oh, wait right smile:blush:

Yes you can all laugh now, and hand me the cone shaped hat. Hopefully I wont be in the corner too long!

D'oh!

Thank you very much, I appreciate your help!
