Uber, I'm afraid we can't do anything about this. The effect you see is caused by the algorithm that we use for making Perlin noise seamless, and it has been the same since the beta. It is usually less noticeable, but it becomes more visible with Profile curves that have spikes or narrow peaks, like the one you used in this filter.

All I can recommend is to use less spiky profile curves. Using larger Size (and adjusting the scale via the Scale parameter of the Perlin Noise component) might also improve things a bit.

Since it doesn't seem to be too fixable through FF re-programming...
An additional idea (to Valdimir's suggestions) could be to offset the Phase of that spikey Curve (i.e. move it more off-center), and then re-correct the overall brightness with a Tone Curve adjustment --- maybe? (Or, heh, maybe this is the same as just making the curve "less spikey"?)

Anyway, interesting quirk, there, uberzev...

I figured out a good workaround for this. Just use stones with the solid fill option, blur, and then apply the tone curve. smile:)
