this is from an older filter, probably going back to an early beta version. the filter is VERY large. it's one of my early multi-filters.
attached is a screenshot of the problem. notice that the profile gradient is in the default settings. it was taken straight from the component list. i even locked the preview onto other compoents and then back onto the profile gradient to make sure it would render newly in the review window.
there are other profile gradients in this filter and many of them are doing the same thing and are also in the default setting. and they render in the preview the same way... oddly.
it's like the repeat is set higher than one, but it's not. i even tried moving the repeat up and down, but this had no effect other than to increase the oddity.
is this a result of an older version of a profile gradient or is it perhaps that this is a large filter and resources are being eaten up so badly that it isnt working right? i cant figure why an unattached prof grad is rendering this way. when i go out of this filter and create a new filter, the prof grads come up correctly, with a nice smooth gradient.
