It happened to me once before ("Rose Window"), where variation 6, once uploaded, was different than the one I'd created. Simpler, and not as cool-looking as the original. smile:cry:

This time, with "Cloisonné d'Art Nouveau," almost all of them are wrong. The default and variations 1, 3, 5, 6, and 8 are less complex than the ones I created in FF, and variation two is simplified and offset oddly. Variation 6 is just...different. Only variations 4 and 7 are correct.

If this was just one, buried down the line of presets, no biggie, but this is 7 of the 9 presets, and one is the default, which lessens the overall impact of the filter page. And the offset one is kind of jarring and amateur-looking. smile:( Bizarrely enough, the presets are correct when you download the filter... smile:?:

Has anyone had this problem? Is there a way to fix it? 'Cause honestly the correct presets are a lot nicer than what show up on the site. smile:D I tried updating "Rose Window" that time with the correct variation 6, but although I got the "your filter has been accepted" message in my mail, the variation was not corrected on the website. Any ideas?

Most likely this happened because 'seamless tiling' is automatically forced on for all filter preset renders on the library.

Just make sure that 'seamless tiling' is activated for all the presets you create. That way your presets show up on the library exactly the way you created them.

i think dilla's right, kits. i've noticed that when i render without seamless and then turn it on on the same preset, it will change the render. and since FF has chosen to turn this on on presets for submitted filters, the solution, currently, is as dilla says. try it out. do that preset without seamless on and then just turn seamless on and watch it re-render and see if it doesnt match up with the preset as it shows on the web here.

D'oh! smile:blush:

Well, fark...I hate having to force the users to suffer seamless tiling for all the presets, but ya gots ta do what ya gots ta do, eh?

Thanks hugely, folks. I'll get the presets fixed asap, especially the offset one. smile;)

yeah, would be nice if the library were divided up by seamless on and off smile:)
