From my understanding it means you need to add at least one unique user control to your filter.

*The built in controls (Size, Variation, and Tiling) don't count.

			Yes, uberzev, you are right.
There is a number of simple checks for filters submitted to Filter Library. We hope this will make filters in Filter Library more useful and user-friendly.

I also just came across this warning and I think it doesn't make sense. Not every filter does necessarly need controls. For some it might just be sufficient if they have the standard pixel size and variation sliders.

I also have another problem now that I cannot submit a filter because it contains a warning sign - the thing is that the filter works just fine and it needs that special kind of setup (in this case a float slider control in a int input) in order to work comfortably. And - it is a warning - not an error after all. So I vote that this limitation goes away.

Hmmm... why can't you just remove the warning? It shows recommendations on how to remove it -- have you tried these recommendations?
If you have a special case when the recommendations don't help, can you please describe the case here?

The only way to remove the warning is to replace the normal slider with an intSlider. But in my case that slider is needed for two different inputs - one goes into a float input and the other one goes into an int.

For something like that it would be interesting to have something like a converter component which does float->int / int/float.

The whole Slider/intSlider business is confusing to me. There should just be one slider that does it all.

Additional the remapping option of intSliders is rather strange. I found this "step" thing pretty unusable until now. Especially since as factors that you can enter there only integers are allowed.

One additional option I would need there is an offset. I also don't appreciate the automatic limiting of the allowed values. The error checking for out-of-range values should happen within the components and not by limiting the inputs - but maybe you implemented it like this for performance reasons.

Creating filters in Filter Forge is a nightmware and not very user friendly. I too am getting this error and scratching my head on how to resolve the error "No Control Components".

Is there not a simple user how to on how to create filters?
Totally disappointed & very confused.... Small block Chevys never die...
