I'm finding that it takes around 10-15 seconds for the program to even start loading, seperately and in Photoshop.

The option to generate low-res previews would also be nice.

That's way too long -- the start is usually pretty quick. Have you customized the folder where Windows stores its temporary files?

Currently, this can be done as follows:

1. Duplicate your pic in Photoshop
2. Resize it to lower resolution
3. Do the work in Filter Forge, save a preset, close FF
4. Open the large pic
5. Apply the same preset

Filter Forge is resolution-independent, so the results in both images will be identical (except for resolution).

I don't really think it's a problem with my computer, as nothing else loads like that. I'll have a play around and see what I can do. smile:)
