This is happening very frequently. Using FF Version 13 Pro, I submitted a bug report but not sure I was as clear as I could be reporting it so I am reporting it again here.
Computer specs: Windows 11 Home; Laptop with Core i9 13900HX; 64 gb memory; Geforce RTX 4070 Laptop When: while in filter editor or Group/snippets How: if I spread my filter modules apart -trying to organize them, it crashes; ![]() ![]() This is also happening when I am editing a "group" or snippet in the filter editor - it gets lost out of bounds, then while trying to scroll around, trying to find my end point of the filter, it crashes. Do you think maybe there is a limit as to how "hefty" or complex the filter can be? I have found the group and create snippet feature really useful, but not if adding it is going to crash the filter over and over. And after this is all said and done, after it crashes, it somehow disappears from wh ere I have bookmarked it within my favorites folders. So I have to add it back all over again ![]() |

Here are more screenshots of "Version 13 - Frequent crashes Creating Filters" After I reproduced the crash, it is gone from my saved place within my favorites folders
I have tried to make the filter smaller and more compact within the filter editor and this doesn't help. I have updated all of the components of the filter to match Version 13 and this doesn't seem to make any difference either ![]() |

I reproduced the error again with this filter.. this time trying to unplug my "group snippet" from the filter. I don't know if you find this information useful, but the submit bug doesn't have a way to do screenshots. Also, I noticed this time, it happened when I was scrolling/zooming OUT within the filter editor space so I could see the filter better. If I stay zoomed in, it doesn't happen as much

Thanks for your report but without the filter file we're unable to look into your issue. Please attached it here or submit to the library. |

Ok, I will attach it here, but it really is not a "submittable" filter I think....to the library
For 2 reasons and one is a question: 1) it is not in a place to be workable yet 2) it is a filter that is modified by other users and I was updating combining, experimenting and adding functions from these "other" filters via the group function to enhance it. The reason I did not upload it is that both of these received a reward and I was merely updating these for my own purposes.. This brings up the Question: Am I even allowed to add filters such as these to the library? The filters' author is: Cartography: This filter created by Crapadilla - I updated / modified elements within the filter Old Parchment: This filter created by Crapadilla - I updated / modified elements within the filter Cartography Revamped.ffxml |

I just noticed there is a "zoom to fit" button.. my bad for not seeing this, I will have to try that next time. Either way when I scroll out using the mouse in the editor, that seems to be when it crashes

What window scaling setting do you have?
Please navigate to 'Display settings' > 'Change the size of text, apps and other items' and set scaling to either 100, 150, or 200. |

This time I tried it at 150 display through windows 11 settings and also at 100. Both gave me a termination. it happened when I tried to create a new filter. I had not saved the filter yet. I wanted to test the filter before saving and I went to change the window size within the filters settings at the very bottom "size, pixles" .. it had been pushed to zero on the slider and isn't it usually defaulting to 600 or 700 pixels?
I got this with display set at 100: Operating system: Windows 10 x64 Edition (10.0 build 22631) Physical memory: 65275 MB Number of processors: 32, available: 32 Processor info: 13th Gen Intel® Core i9-13900HX, ~0 MHz Filter Forge x64 13.005.4275.16034 Release, February 15, 2024 12:53 [11/11/2024 3:54:58 PM -0600] [Controls::Control] Exception occured while processing window message 0x00000201(WM_LBUTTONDOWN) (0x00000001 0x0008000D) for window 00000000001E0C28/00000000001E0C28, control: <class Controls::TrackBar>@0000000013C2A320.
