I've been having a strange problem for about a week now - not being able to connect to the FF website. I'm getting an "Access is prohibited by the site administrator [767]" error message. I can only access the site through a VPN or from a cellular network.

I've contacted both FF support and my ISP, and neither one is apparently blocking any traffic that could be causing this. I've tried doing some traceroute diagnostics and there appears to be some connection points that are responding with timeouts. Has anyone had similar problems? Any ideas how this could be fixed? Also can someone confirm that the 767 error message is not from the FF servers?

Windows Error Code 767. Internet connection sharing cannot be enabled. The LAN connection selected on the private network has more than one IP address configured. Reconfigure the LAN connection with a single IP address before enabling Internet connection sharing.

Are on a Windows system? Seems like a DNS issue but hard to tell from here. Do you have a way to connect with a browser from another computer or phone via WiFi?

Hmm, interesting. Not sure how to interpret that yet. I'll have to do some more googling smile:)

I'm on windows, yes. You might be right about DNS. The same problem occurs with every device connected to the router - wired of wireless.

emme, you may want to change your DNS to Google or Cloudflare.

In Windows, open Network and Internet settings, select your connection > Change adapter options > Properties > IPv4 > Properties > Use the following DNS server addresses:
8.8.8.8 for Google and/or 1.1.1.1 for Cloudflare.
