preview is grey and render result is bad

Just tried Bloomer filter with FF9, just downloaded latest build. With filter Bloomer I get grey image in preview, nothing rendered, just silhouette..

if render it also looks strange.. I have PC with much memory, Nvidia card, 4K display, work with latest Adobe products without problems..

I had similar behavior a few times before with some newer filters but did not mind, because was just browsing though new filters, but now I got it again..

The same problem with "Double Angle Blur" - I see just an empty square with no image at all..

When opening the filter use File-Open Image..
This filter uses the colors of that image to produce the look...
Use a square image to center the bloom......

Most of the filters in the image library take some type of image...

Thank you for the prompt reply, it was that simple.. I forget sometime that not all filters are just generating some kind of an image but use source image ..

You are welcome.....Keep in mind that the Effect Filters use some type of source image...Texture filters create their own image....
