I downloaded some organic filters such as ammonite, feather and grass. When I downloaded them, the render was on a transparent background, but now when I try to render them, the lifesaver image (or whichever) is still there! it is like it is embedded in the final result. What am I doing wrong...or how can I fix it? Please..I can't figure it out.

Go to the menu in the upper left and choose File-New Image.......You will get the dialog to sel ect the size of the new image...Also the Fill Color of the background....Click on the color and the color picker will pop up to choose your color fr om......Go to the sliders on the right and at the bottom right there will be a slider marked "A".....This is the alpha for the background...So set that to zero and click ok...Then click ok in the new image dialog....The background should be now transparent...

If the answer from CFandM, does not work, it would be better if you tell exactly what filters are and put the link of at least one of them, and so it would be easier to help you and tell you more exactly what to do or what may you be doing wrong
