Filter Forge shows up in the Photoshop 7 Filter menu, but is grayed out and unselectable. All the rest of my plugins show up normally. The Filter Forge directory is unchanged from installation (the FF plugin config file points to the proper directory), and I've tried placing the FF plugin files in every place I could reasonably think of (pointer to directory from PS plugins, PS plugins, Photoshop only plugins subdirectory, etc.), What might I be missing?

Hi RJ
I use PS7 with no problem. Is your image RGB? FF will be greyed out if the source image is greyscale or gif. Etc.
The plugin goes here by default
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 7.0\Plug-Ins\Filters\Filter Forge\Filter Forge.8bf
Hope this helps.

Ken,
Thanks, that did it! I may have had the filter initially installed twice (probably messing things up), not knowing that it was already installed properly at FF install time, and then in later attempts to test it just got lazy and opened a New image in Photoshop each time, not realizing it was defaulting to gray scale (must have been the last image type I saved, I guess). Straightened out both, and everything works fine. Thanks again.
