I get this message:

<class XFW::Exception> Kernel processing initialization failed.

when i try to run Filter Forge 4.0 Pro. I've tried both .exe's.
Even the install itself fails (same message pops up) - though the installer does say "install finished successfully" (or whatever).

This is a fresh install of Windows 10 (Home). It has worked flawlessly before on this machine with the exact same hardware, and on Windows 10 (though it was not the "Home" version).

Any ideas?

I've restarted the computer. Updated my graphics drivers (nvidia 1080ti). I tried running as admin, tried compability mode..

..so i searched the forum here, this bug is not new, other people have asked about it and with no solution from anyone.

So I bought 8.0 Basic instead, works fine but its quite the downgrade from Pro for me since the filters i'm interested in and are using is the 4.0 (and previous).
