In the options we could change the way how normal maps are generating. DirectX or OpenGL.
But since the last update, it change only in preview mode, but the generated is always the DirectX one. I need the OpenGl version. I checked it .. it is not for only one filter, it is same with different filters. I started the Filter Forge 5.0 and there everything is fine, I can change the method and it renders well. But not in FF 6.0 |

I'm afraid I can't reproduce it. With this filter (1st preset), normal maps are clearly different for DirectX and OpenGL settings. Please see the rendering results below.

hmmm .. in this case maybe the filter itself? I used the Flagstones filter.
Now I tried with Croc and yes, it works. But when I tried the image map was only 500x500 pixels. With Flagstone, the image was 4096x4096 and the rendering time was around 30 minutes... maybe it was too huge? Would you suggest what settings I should check? I have 2 NVIDIA GeForce GTX980 Ti GPUs and IntelCore i7 4790 4000 Hz CPU with 32 GB RAM. This PC should render well. Would you check with this Flagstones filter and with large image ? I tried with 2000x2000 and still nothing. However when I tried now with the Croc with 4096x4096, it was not good again and rendered the the DirectX version when I set the OpenGl. Even if it was good with the 500x500 image. Maybe I have problem with OpenGl with large images? Please I don't know what should I check. I use it with Corel Photo-Paint. |

I will check the Flagstone filter later. For now, please try the standalone version without Photo-Paint.
