Some things to verify fr om your site:
1 Did you use Filter Forge 4 or Filter Forge 5 (> 5.007)? If not which version of FF did you use?
2. Did you start with "New Render job"?
3. Have you "unzipped" FFEasyRender.zip in a folder of your choice (for which you don't need admin rights)? Advice : in a new folder of your documents folder. See the quick start guide in the zip file.
4. Did you install FilterForge at the default installation path?
5. Wh ere is the file FFXCmdRenderer-x86.exe situated at your system? At my system it is located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Filter Forge 5\Bin\FFXCmdRenderer-x86.exe".

Hello G4nesha,

I am working with FF 5.010 (not demo) as well, so if the demo is the same as the licensed version, this can't be the problem. For me the program is working without a problem (FF 5.010, Windows 7 64 bit), so I need more info.

6. Which version of Windows you use 7,8, or 10?, 32 bit or 64 bit?
7. Has your user account administrator rights or limited rights?
8. Be sure that the files FFEasyRender.exe and FFEasyRenderTemplate.xml are in the same folder and are not modified.
9. FFEasyRender generates the xml file FFEasyRender.xml (same folder). After that it uses the command line renderer of FF (FFXCmdRenderer-x86.exe). Can you check with a text editor (like Notepad++) that the paths in the generated FFEasyRender.xml are correct for your system?
10 Can you use the command line renderer of FF without FFEasyRender?

For more info about the commandline renderer of FF, see :
Filter Forge command line renderer

Hello FFCreator,
thank you for your answer

6-ok so I have Windows 7 in 64bit version ,

7- I think I do ,considering the fact that I can in any folder in my computer even the "programdata" one but sometimes I am asked to whether or not let an application launch .

8-Yes they are in the same folder

9-I think they are , look
"C:\Users\my name\Documents\FFEasyRenderV1\FFEasyRenderTemplate.xml"

10-the thing is that when I doubleclick on it,it opens the cmd window, and close it really quick, I even don't have time to read what it says...

If the cmd windows opens and closes very fast, it seems that the FF command line renderer find errors in the (by FFEasyRender) generated xml (batch render) file (FFEasyRender.xml) or that FF command line renderer (or the shell of FFEasyRender) has no sufficient rights to open / write files or or that the FF command line renderer can't find the specified files (filters and pictures).

11 Is the behavior the same if you temporarily switch off your virus scanner(s)?

12 Please check the content of the generated FFEasyRender.xml with a text editor like Notepad or Notepad++.
a Are the folder and path of the lines that start with <Result path=" and <Filter value=" correct for your system (are the files located as stated in the lines)?
b If they are correct, can you attach the generated file FFEasyRender.xml in your next post?

The problem seems to be related to using different drives (at least on your system).

For example :
Quote
<Result path="C:\Users\D\Documents\FFEasyRenderV1\FFResults\DSC_4939.Image fixe026_Library_9991-1_PR01.jpg" format="JPG" />

is not a valid path (if D is a drive character and not a map in C:\Users).

Try if this works :
1 Copy 1 original photo of your camera in a folder at the same drive Filterforge is installed (normally the "C" drive). Suggestion : your documents folder.
2. Run FFEasyRender (new render job).

Okay , so this is really annoying , I think I am gonna give up unfortunatly
, D is the name of my folder (it has the same name than my other drive, can this create a problem?)
I tryed to paste the pictures in the same folder where is my FFEasyRender , but still got the same issue ... smile:evil:

FFEasyRender is in fact a shell for the FilterForge (FF) command line renderer.
Have you verified that the command line renderer of FF (so without using FFEasyRender) is working on your system with these paths / folders?

Anyway, another user asked to adapt FFEasyRender for the upcoming FF 6. With this update I will check in my code if the cause of the problem is in FFEasyRender itself.
