Hi
FIRST:
FF doesn't support Adobe Fireworks but I thought I'd try it anyway since I use FW regularly for web and online video work.
SECOND
When I apply the FF filter in Fireworks, it opens up FF just fine; functions perfectly and then when I hit APPLY it returns me to Fireworks for a bit and then jumps right back to Filter Forge.
If I hit APPLY the second time, it goes to Fireworks again and presto, the filter effect I had sel ected is applied to my Fireworks created image.
THIRD
When I first tried using it fr om inside Fireworks I kept getting the "changed Gamma to 2.2 message) so I disabled the GAMMA detection and tried it all again after closing the program etc. STILL... it takes TWO passes to get it to work.
FOURTH
Using Windows 7, 64 pro
QUESTION:
Anybody have this type of issue with Fireworks or perhaps other Graphic Software that is or isn't necessarily supported by Filter Forge? If so, did you ever find a fix or a work-a-round?
Since I have a pretty fast system it doesn't take too too long but alas, it's still time consuming. ALL FEATURES do work by the way and yes I could simply use it as a stand alone too but well, you know.
ANY THOUGHTS OR IDEAS would be greatly appreciated and I thank you in advance!
